Xiaomi Mi 5 photo samples out to show its camera prowess!
Xiaomi, also known as the Apple of China, is a relatively new company but has outgrown many well established players in the smartphone segment in a very short time. The Chinese smartphone maker is best known for its budget smartphones that come with high-end features and bring an interesting UI on board. And the best part is that Xiaomi has never failed to surprise its fans with its newest products. It now has launched its latest smartphone that's been touted as its best smartphone till date.
For quite some time now, the company stayed in news for its Mi 5 smartphone that has now become official at the MWC 2016.
At the time of the unveiling of the phone, the company's head Hugo Barra demonstrated the working of the 4-axis optical stabilization over 2-axis and 3-axis optical stabilization, which made the phone look like a brilliant performer in terms of imaging and photography skills. Moreover, the Mi 5 camera sensor has phase-detection autofocus and uses deep trench isolation technology to prevent light from leaking between individual pixels. Also it has a 4MP selfie shooter with large, 2-micron pixels which is bigger than the 1.1-micron pixels used on most standard cameras. The use of increasing pixel size is that larger pixels let in more light and work pretty well in low-light conditions. The company, as always, compared the photography capabilities of the Xiaomi Mi 5 by comparing it with the Apple iPhone 6s to show the camera prowess of the new phone.
Further, to prove the camera goodness of Mi 5, Xiaomi has now shared few official camera samples for us to take a look and analyze. See for yourself and comment below if you think the Xiaomi Mi 5 camera is impressive!
